4L80e Cooling Lines to Radiator

Can someone help me with sizes or part numbers for the two fittings on the transmission and what I need at the radiator? My radiator has 5/16 female ports for the transmission. I intend to use Russel braided 6an line for the plumbing. Thank you in advance! I don't have a local store that sells these fittings, so I have to order them and get it right the first time.

5/16 line uses a 1/2 x 20 nut.

On the 4l80 it looks like there is a fitting with a piece of pipe, might want to pull your old ones out and see if yours does have that pipe on it. The Russel page had both types on it at the bottom.

The later 4l80s use the fitting with the short piece of pipe, like 97 or later. Ther earlier ones are just 2 of the smae fitting, 1/4 NSP.

They have the same set without the tube if you do have an older case as well.

I used Powerflex on my transmission lines. all -6an to the radiator cooler and Hayden trans cooler.

That looks great First c10. Do you know the part numbers for the fittings that you used? The 90's and the ones for the transmission specifically. I like the idea of the PTFE line over the standard line, but I have a hard time finding fittings for it on Summit.

I am going to try to go without the trans cooler as I will not be towing or driving this truck that much. Hopefully fine on just the radiator cooler.

I appreciate the help!

I am not sure where I ordered them from as I try and order by the actual part numbers i check on Amazon, Summit, Jegs, ebay, etc. whoever is cheaper

OK so I re-read your last post and you were wondering what the part number for the actual transmission to AN fitting numbers were. My transmission is a 4L 60. Below is on eBay link to the 4L 80 fittings. But I do believe there are different years so you will need to make sure they fit.
