clear over SEM hot rod black
my car has sem hot rod black matte, im tired of the constant fingerprints and maintenance of the matte black,..could I clear over this as it sits?..would it look just like a base/clear paint?

Yes, if scuffed and cleared it should result in shiny finish, but I'd check with the folks at SEM to be sure.

a matte clear of a different single stage.
a flattening agent can be added to a clear, but too much turns it slightly grayish. check out the Rich Evans paint line Vintage Flatz ??? |
