My '71 still has brake drums in the rear and I bought the truck with 20in wheels, but want to get some 15's on it for a new look and stance. Would 15's fit with the original brake system of my truck? Anybody had a similar issue?

Yes 15s will work for most part. If you get the 15" steel wheels, make sure they are 4 nub or you won't be able to rotate them. 3 nub wheels rub on disc brakes

these trucks came with 15", so they most certainly fit. But heed 68350's warning with the nubs

I assume he's talking about 5 lug for a 1/2 ton truck since he's talking about a '71 15" - so wouldn't all 15" 5 luggers be disk brake wheels? (i.e. it's the pre-71 6 lug wheels ya gotta watch out for - and there were no pre-71 5 lug truck wheels). Wanted to ask/clarify. I guess it could be possible to accidentally grab a 60's car 5 lug wheel by accident.

He is specifically asking if 15" wheels will fit drums. I don't think he has gotten to the calier issue yet. He still has 20s at the moment and I assume we are now witnessing a new phenomenon. The day has come where we see people who know nothing but what came since the day no wheel larger than 15" was ever used on anything but 8-lug trucks and only medium duty-heavy trucks ran 18" or larger. The trend has corrupted our younger generations!
