Thumbs down Truckmanloco - problem getting parts rip off

Avoid this seller. I responded to an ad here about a rust free cab and front sheet metal, asked for pictures which were sent I agreed and paid for the cab and sheet metal. That is when all the trouble started..... I was told and sent a picture that showed a broken foot, being understanding I told the seller I wasn't in a huge hurry so take the time and recover. He said cool and he would be getting the cast off on Oct 17 and would send the cab and sheet metal out BEFORE going on Vacation. I wasnt to concerned so let it ride for a couple weeks. I get a text from saying the cab will go out on a thursday. Later that day I get a call from the seller explaining that he had mis quoted shipping and would not be able to send the front sheet metal. I said no big deal just send me the Cab and the doors. He explained that he would be sending it out before going to SEMA and I should be getting it in about a week. I asked for the Bol and was told it would be sent because he would have to look it up. No BOL was sent so I called, he said he was at SEMA and would look it up when he got back to the hotel and send it. Next morning after nothing being sent I texted asked who the shipper was and was told shipping center.com. I called and no shipment was being sent to me.. I texted got nothing back, PM'd nothing back. Called left message nothing back. After a few days I texted again and was told that his charger got broke and his phone was dead. He said the cab is on the way and is in colorado and would be there by tuesday that was on 11/7/13. Again I asked for the tracking info and was told I had it wrote down a threw it away while leaving Vegas and would log on when he got home to look it up. 11/10 I asked for the BOL. 11/11/13 asked again. I was told it would be there thursday....I asked who the shipper was and told YRC shipping. I asked for the BOL and was told I will have to look it up. Meantime I called YRC and no shipment heading my way. He said he would look it up and email it I gave my email.... no email came as promised as of last night. I have called twice today and have texted the seller three times today with no response. The payment was sent and received on 9/4/13 and have been strung along by the seller for far too long. Stay away for this seller!

Re: Truckmanloco - problem getting parts rip off

Thanks Liz, I heard from the seller today... " do you still want the cab if not I'll cancel the shipment and refund your money. I'm not going to play the whole blast me online stuff. The cab is taking 6 business days to get there".

My response: All I have ever asked for was honesty I have asked you for simple information for weeks. I did not state ANYTHING that wasn't true . If the cab has shipped then send me the bol and all is good. Otherwise if it has not shipped as you have said refund my money today. That was several hours ago and have received no response from the seller.

Re: Truckmanloco - problem getting parts rip off

I heard from the seller tonight and was given a shipping ID. The cab has not been picked up yet as the request for shipment to this shipping company was just made tonight.Hopefully it will be picked up tomorrow by the shipping company.

Re: Truckmanloco - problem getting parts rip off

Thought we were getting somewhere, but I am afraid we have not. The shipping company says that a pickup has been entered Via the interenet but will need more information from the shipper prior to pick up. They SAID they have tried to get in touch several times with the shipper with no luck. I have tried myself to reach the seller with no luck. Looks like we are back to Square one.

Re: Truckmanloco - problem getting parts rip off

I hope you get your money or the cab. As Mel said this seller has had alot of issues on this board. So he told you it was already been shipped and was in Colorado earlier? How does he live with himself by lying to you about this? This is a VERY good board with alot of good people, IMO it doesn't need sellers like this

Re: Truckmanloco - problem getting parts rip off

I agree this is a good board and most everyone I have dealt with have been great to do business with. I am not sure what is going on with the seller, but I have asked him to either call the shipping company and answer the questions they have tonight or refund my money tonight. So far I have not heard from the seller. I have spent way too much time on this and have lost my spot at the body shop. I am on the hunt for a cab and doors if it works out it does, I will be contacting some people in Cali to see what I can do.

Re: Truckmanloco - problem getting parts rip off

I received any update from the seller today "they are trying to find a shipper with a closer terminal right now they want me to drive the cab 125 miles to drop it off. And still pay 625 dollars. So if they don't find something else I'm gonna send you your money back."

You have bent over backwards trying to go along on this deal. Pull the trigger on getting your refund,, now.. The longer it drags out, the harder it is to get.

Re: Truckmanloco - problem getting parts rip off

I got a text for the seller after I had asked for a refund " I got this thing strapped and wrapped on a pallet all it needs is picked up". I replied I already found another cab it will be picked up and here by end of next week. I had been working with the shipping company for a week trying to get this shipped. I had spoken to the representative who stated he spoke to Travis earlier to let him know he had it worked out all he needed was a credit card to finialize it. He said he would call him back after work with it. I checked back and no call back. I have bent over backwards trying to help get this done. December 2nd will be 3 months. As far as I can tell my money was used to take trip to SEMA and doubt I will see a penny.

Re: Truckmanloco - problem getting parts rip off

I asked again for a refund from the seller and received the following reply: according to you I have some trips to fund and like I told you before I don't do the whole internet cop thing what you said about the shipper was BS they have had my info from day one. I will send you twenty dollars today until I Feel like sending the rest. For all of those on this board who think you know Travis I assure you do not! He is a liar, a thief and a cheat plain and simple. He does not deserve to be part of this board.

" I told you before I don't do the whole internet cop thing "

It's time to go to the local police dept with as much documentation as you can muster , Let the real cops deal with him now .

Re: Truckmanloco - problem getting parts rip off

Well I will post my reply here as well just so its public and my responses are not paraphrased like above. I will give Rob a 100% refund minus my time for palletizing and wrapping the cab. The cab was all set up for shipping, Freightcenter had my Credit Card info and has had it from day one ( you have to provide it to set up the shpment). As far as the defamation attempt calling me a liar and saying i tried to rip you off thats completely false. I have offered you a refund on numerous occasions. And now that you have bought another cab all of a sudden im just supposed to drop all my work and call it a loss. Not happening. So here is a breakdown of the fees i will be charging Rob that have incurred for services provided to date.

Palletizing cab- 100 dollars
Wrapping Material- 12 dollars
Wrapping Fee- 50 Dollars
Total- 172.00

Now as far as the refund before I stated that I would send 20 dollars a day to fullfil the amount payed for services and items. But since that wasnt good enough I will now pay 1 dollar a day until the full amount tendered is returned. I will be sending these payments certified cashiers check. This will ensure that theere is no misconception that im trying to rip anyone off as stated above. But since I already stated that i would send the first payment of 20 dollars today at 9am PST. I will do that, but from now on just expect 1 dollar payments. But like i said before it will be a 100% refund minus the fees iI listed above. Since its now 9am PST paypal sent transaction number - 6XH370753B8718038.

Re: Truckmanloco - problem getting parts rip off

You know, If it was me I would just get it over with and give the man his parts and credit due. Why prolong it by returning his money in 1 dollar increments and act childish about it. Just doesn't make sense to me. But hey it's only my opinion and everyone has one.

Just curious, if you still have the cab and his money isn't the buyer entitled to one? I don't understand your $1 payments, don't you want to just be done with this?

Now that we know the payments will be made, and the law has been notified, the account will be suspended for bad / slow deals on more than one occasion.
