Anyone who did the Custom smooth dash panel....

Does anyone that did the Custom smooth dash panel in their 55-59 truck still have the glovebox portion they would be willing to get rid of?

What part do you need, I might have part of one that I cut out for another guy. I've got another one but it has a lot of surface rust on it and I don't know what condition it is really in.

Too dang cold an windy to go out and look tonight though.

I need the glovebox portion of the dash, I don't need the door. I have an idea, and want to try!!! I understand the cold and windy thing, we have it on this side of the mountains!

I made it out and got some photos of the dash (s) I have here. The first one is the one I mentioned and it does have a lot of surface rust. The second one is on a 5 window roof I hauled home from East Wenachee a few years ago. It is probably the best part of that piece except someone hogged out the hole for the radio. I can take the sawzall out and cut the winshield posts off it real easy. That would give you plenty to play with and I have a better looking glove box door that can go with it not show quality but driver quality with some polish.

That one is easy and would give you plenty to work with.

Hello mr48chev my bad, I should have said it was 55-59 truck! However thank you very much for braving the nasty cold there in Toppenish to get me the pictures! Side note, I edited my post to say 55-59 truck, darn old age anyway!!!

That's what happens when you are old and retired you don't read the fine print. I did figure out that that dash is a whole lot better than I thought it was outside of the monster radio hole in it.
