I used the flapwheel on my underside. Much nicer than having the wire wheel spitting needles at me. Got the same results and it does a bigger surface.

Yea I did use a flap wheels on some areas, no doubt you don't get pricked nearly as much

Not much to do with the c10 but this afternoon my dad and I picked up this old Lincoln sp150 welder from my grandpas barn, thought it was a pretty cool score I love old stuff like this.

On the firewall picture I see you added some metal around the top. Is that to smooth the firewall or to block of the vents?

That was to smooth the firewall up, I've seen it a few times really like that clean smooth look

Hey, nice work! I can't help but notice your frame has no X. Is it a 62? Also what transmission are you using? I'm working on a 62 also and I'm going to have an issue fitting a 700r4 under the low hump cover. It looks like your retaining the cross member that used to support the original. Thx, Tony
