Hello out there! It's been a long while since I've posted, but if you wouldn't mind helping a gal out with a question, I'd appreciate it! (I also hope I'm in the correct forum - if not, please move mods

I've got a 1989 2500 Suburban with a original stock 350. It's got over 262,000 miles and is in need of replacement (hubby doesn't want to rebuild). However, I want a 454. It came as an option from the factory, and it will then match my 454SS (even tho it's got a 496, it's still a BBC).

So, what else has to be changed, other then the TBI? The brackets? Alternator? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
