Very cool find and build.
My wife wants one like that, so I am NOT going to show her pictures of yours.

I still have to finish my '69BB build.

Cool van!

They did up a similar van on "Pimp My Ride".

You can search "Mike's Grumman Kurbmaster Wonder Bread Truck" for some inspiration.

Re: 1972 GMC 1500 Value-Van

Most of these were custom ordered by the fleet. They have a lot of variations in doors & running gear. They are beautiful for swap meets. Put in some shelves & you can carry a lot of parts & tables too. I used to buy & sell them. I would pick one out of the lot & use it for a swap meet.

I have a '87 Value Van that I need to lower, on the cheap.

When I try to find coil springs to lower the front or schackles for rear, the search comes up blank I think the thang is just kinda obscure... though I believe it is simply an aluminum box on top of a Chevy P3500 Chassis.

So I'm thinking of cutting one coil off the springs, and having my machinist extend the stock schackles 2.5"

My questions are, is there any reason that plan won't work? and, if not, are all '87 full size dually pickups the same 3500 chassis, thus enabling a better coil solution?

MANY THANKS

Don

My '83 P10 chassis parts are identical to C10 pickup. I suspect your 3500 would be the same as a 1 ton dually.

PS You desperately need some sway bar bushings!!
