Stock Wheels

After seeing all the trucks with stock wheels on them here, i want to get rid of the ralleys and go to stock 15 wheels. Does any body know of a website of where to get some. I have looked on ebay and put ads on craiglist with no good results. And one of the wheel website i found shows only 5 lug for a four wheel drive which is wrong. I need 6 lug for a 72 frame.

Re: Stock Wheels

You can check the parts board here, check your local junk yards, or try a place like Stockton wheel, or wheel vintiques. Remember to watch for the wheels that are or are not for front disc brakes. I look for any 73-87 blazer in wrecking yards that still has spare rims inside. Scored a brand new tire that way.

Re: Stock Wheels

steel rims for a 4 wheel drive are hard to come by... love the change in plans!! but your gonna have to search junk yards for a 71-87 chevy or gmc 4wd with the steelies on it.

Re: Stock Wheels

I had to search a while before I found mine. Look in the parts classifieds on this site, maybe post a WTB classified here, check Craigslist, EBay, junkyards and eventually you'll find them.

Re: Stock Wheels

call gus - I've used these guys a few times - they don't always have what I need, but they are helpful and I've bought quite a few wheels from them.

And I concur with 67chevy1series - primary search is for a 71-87 K10 or K5 wheel (in case you ever stick disks on that front axle).
