Re: Seat back from upholstery shop.

Looks great

It reminds me of a mid to late '70's Chevy truck seat.

Good looking seat. I like the way the pleats are done.

I liked the original plaid fabric from 70's square body but it was $109.00 a yard. I didn't like it quite that much.

Re: Seat back from upholstery shop.

Had the door panels upholstered like the seats, installed today. Also installed armrest, had them upholstered to match.

Re: Seat back from upholstery shop.

Looks great. I'm really digging it. I wouldn't mind having something similar done for mine. Is your seat the basic spring seat or the foam deluxe one?

I'd be interested in that too. I want to replace my custom foam but I'm not sure how well a typical shop could shape the new foam like the original.

Re: Seat back from upholstery shop.

Thanks everyone, I thought it turned out nice. After I had the seat done, I knew I had to do more. The seat had foam in it that they had to repair on the drivers side.

Can I ask what they charged for the seat repair and upholstery? Did you supply the cover or had them make it up from scratch?

My seat has a drivers sag and a busted spring I need to get done and am curious what it costs.

Thanks and your interior looks nice.

Shop charged $500.00, they made it from scratch, that included the visor too. I paid $60.00 for the material from Amazon.
