.......I get ya.......I bet its a diameter issue. I have 18 and 20 inch wheels. If it was 15 I mite be in trouble, but both my sets have 5+ inches of backspace. The Silverado wheels are probably 16''.

Those rings were on one of my trucks and I haven't been able to find them anywhere. Maybe someone will recognize them and have a source. I checked all the usual suspects, to no avail.

Re: 6 luggers

2008 Nissan Titan factory take-offs. Had to machine the centers to fit over the rear axles. Other than that they fit perfect. 20" x 8" with 5 1/2" b.s.

Re: 6 luggers

I like the slotts on my 4x4.

If I had a 2wd, I'd run rallys, like my '73.

Here is a pic of my 65 Shorty with the old wheels. American reacing nitros 16x8 off of a 1997 Chevrolet Tahoe 4wd. The tires were 245/60/16 Goodyear eagle's.

Now here are the new wheels K5 blazer 15x8 rallys. In the pic I have just the centers on them but now I have the stainless liners. The tires are BF goodrich Radial t/a 245-60-15's

Six lug 8 x 15 Corvette Rally rims from Gradiot Tire page on ebay. The center caps are plastic but the whole set was only $350 shipped!

Old custom classic trucks have soul. Their dashboards aren't plastic, and they've survived both the best and worst of what the 20th century had to offer. For the owners of these trucks, it's often the same story. Through both good and bad times they persevered, until one day they could turn the key and roll up in a customized truck everyone with good taste would admire.Custom Classic Trucks

Running big and little stock steel wheels but going to change over to 5 lug and run Cragar 610 g. The pic of the truck purple is when I first got it. It had 6 lug rallys.

Re: 6 luggers

Aerotruk - quick question for ya, I'm a bit stupid when it comes to 16" wheels... You mentioned they are stock - did any half-tons actually come with 16" wheels, if so, which ones?

More importantly!! Does anyone know if those stock 16" steel wheels will clear an 11" disk brake kit - say like what CPP or POL, etc offer? I have a lead on some 16" stock 6 lugs, but only way I can confirm they may work with disks is by your all's expertise! Appreciate any thoughts... Don't know if the stock 16"ers have the inner rim taper like 15" wheels do - I assume they do - but wondering if the extra diameter eliminates that worry by displacing the taper another 1/2" from the caliper...

Sid, I LOVE the new cast look cragars, that's an awesome wheel.

Re: 6 luggers

Jocko the best part about the new Cragars is the price. They are about $130 a wheel verses $180 for Torque Thrusts. I really wanted 6 lug Chrome Reverses but thet were about $200 wheel shipping included but 4 ot 5 weeks out. Got my new Cragars through Jegs and the shipping was free.
