I just checked them again and they are 285/40/18 so I am not sure why you cannot located them.
Here is a pic for you.

Re: My First

Thank you, i believed you when you listed them as 285/40/18 but i can't seem to find them anywhere maybe i'm not looking hard enough lol. The thing that i don't understand is that they don't list that size on their website maybe they discontinued it.

That's what I am thinking they must have discontinued that size. Sucks for me in the future! I had to take the pic to reassure myself that is what I have because I couldn't find them on their site either.

Maybe someone will chime in on this and give us some insight.

Re: My First

Ok, I have some updates for you guys and gals.

I received my smoothie bumper from Top Banana and installed it this morning. I really like the look of it but had some issues with fitment and I am not sure if it the bumper or me.

It looks great but the driver side hangs out about an 1" or more than the passenger side. I have loosed every bolt and pulled and pushed but cannot get it pulled over anymore. I am thinking that I may have to bow the bumper a bit but then the mounts would need to be moved.

I installed my battery box in the bed (no pics yet) and the truck will be shipped to my buddy's house after the 1st of the year to get wired.

How's it going 67cheby.

I thought about that also. I am going to double check but everything lines up great except the bumper. What is the best way to check for square. I have measure the cab to the frame on both sides at the front and at the rear and the measurements are right on.

I hope so too. I guess I am going to loosen up everything and see if I can close the gap with out causing issues at the bed line. Right now everything lines up very well.

Thanks for the kind words Alvin.

Re: My First

i think i would measure under the cab from the frame to the rocker backing panels, and maybe even use a square off of the frame to make sure it is setting on the frame square and even from on side to the other. That might be as clear as mud , hopefuly i explained it right

Yea you explained it correct. That's how I installed it but who knows I could have had to many adult beverages that day.

Anyways I am going to double check this weekend and see what I need to do. It just the thought of having to take everything loose again that has me filling a little sick to my stomach but it shouldn't take long at all if that is what's wrong.
Thanks for the input!

Thanks a bunch guys! I want to get this thing going under it's own power so badly I can taste it, but patience will make a nicer truck in the end.
I just want to get it mobile and moving under it's own power, it would help me over come this massive urge to get it completed yesterday.

Re: My First

if you just back off the cab bolts and rad core sup bolts a little you should be able to shift the cab, without doing anything else, if that is the problem !

I really hope so. I think you should take a road trip to Ohio and lay some of those metal skills on to my truck! I could use a set of wheel wells like yours.

Doesn't scare me but I would want to do it before I finish paint. I am thinking about taking it to a sheet metal shop and let them fabricate something for me. I would like it to be removable also, but that's next years budget

Re: My First

Well I am happy to report I have everything lined up well with the bumper. I loosened up all of the cab bolts and core support bolts and was able to bump everything over a bit to line up with the bumper.

Also trying to heat up the garage so I can get my sound proofing material down. Looks like next weekend it will be shipped off to get wired .

The goal is to have it drivable by this spring so hopefully everything goes as planned. I will post more pics when I can.
