Ok ..seriously i need help

Does anyone know if an H70 with power steering has any kind of a fluid cooler or a check valve or anything in line between the pump and the steering box?...I just replaced the pump, which was obviously bad as the vanes were all scattered about the inside.....however the new pump does not seems to be doing ANY thing.. fluid level did not even drop when I fired it up. ....pulled the lines at the box and no fluid...... Lines plugged? It is not bypassing like it is making pressure .......what have I missed ?

Never mind, just took a little rev and finishing the job, between brand new belts, rain, the flex of the bracket without the rear brace and not locking down the belt tension adjustment bolts....the belts would slip under load. Put it ALL the way together and it seems to work ok.
