tail lights
Ok guys,,,What are you using for the brake, park and signal lights.Combo units? or separate lights. I installed a second light in the unit but not fond of the result. Looking for a factory all in one unit to look good on the 52

You can make it work with the original lights with a couple of diodes in the brake light feeds so they don't feed back when you hit the turn signal.

I would highly recommend led taillights. The stock ones aren't very bright and seemed like a possible safety issue to me.

I had very bad luck with a few different LED lights I bought for my Rambler. Here is a little thread on what I ended up doing, and I am very happy with the good old 1157 bulbs after adding reflectors to them.
Go to the #3 post and look at photo #11 and 12. http://www.hotrodders.com/forum/basi...ng-212015.html There are probably some great LED lights out there, but the ones I bought were crap, and the second pair wasn't cheap. I found that the most important thing is the reflector. I see broken lights at work every day, the LED lights from the manufacturers like Toyota and Mercedes and the like all have very good reflectors. Brian

I have a set of these to go on mine when I get that far..they are for a early 30s chevy car..the ones I got are repo and are LED with plastic lense and black housing.whereas originals are glass lense..ill, have to fab a bracket to hold them..
