Brake lights and turn signal electrical issues

On my 1998 K1550 when I'm driving and my running lights are off, the brake lights work fine but sometimes so I'm told my signals will switch, but they act normally otherwise. When the running are on the turn signals act as if they have a burnt bulb with the signal going double time and the brake lights don't seem to be noticeably different. Any suggestions. This is only a few of the issues.

Re: Brake lights and turn signal electrical issues

check your grounds. I had a broken ground strap that went from the body to the frame that caused similar issues. the ground straps I ha a problem with are on the passenger side frame rail in the front by the cab mount. also check you ground at the back of the frame driver side near the bumper bracket inboard side. hope this helps.
