New to the Board. My project: 1969 C10

Hi one and all. I am a newbie to the board. I am 40+ years old and a lifelong Chevy owner. This is my first Chevy Truck. I will be posting progress, questions and updates as I motor along through the transformation. The truck comes from the second owner. It has sat for the last 8 years. I now have in my possession every, and I mean EVERY receipt for anything that has ever been done to this truck. There is literally 2 inches on receipts. I have the original bill of sale, title, and little metal plate that came attached to the warranty back then that included the information of the new owner and the trucks info. Quite impressed I was.

Re: New to the Board. My project: 1969 C10

Thanks. Forgot to add some extra info. Engine 350 SBC 5.7 liter, hydra matic 400 tranny, 373 POSI rear end new battery, new Edlebrock intake manifold, Edlebrock carb 600cfm Edlebrock valve covers, Edlebrock valve breathers and K&N intake. Rally 6 lug wheels, only 400 miles on new tires, fresh oil change.
has a bench seat from 89 chevy pick up truck. The seat in the bed is the original, which will soon be off to my cousins shop for an overhaul. So if anyone has a need for that I will have no problem parting with the one currently in the cab. All elecrical and light works and gauges all except the speedo. As you all can see there is some severe rusting out on the bottom of the passenger door side. The door as well rusted right through. Im not sure what can be done, if anything, or if im going to have to get a new door perhaps? Right below the door as well, can that be fixed? maybe something fabricated?
