Early Quadrajet APT plug

How do you remove the APT plug on early (1973) Quadrajets? should I drill it and use a pick, or go at it with dremel tool?

Thank you. That plug is for the later Quadrajets (75ish and up) with the APT at the top. Earlier ones have it under the fuel filter.

I suppose with a Dremel you could clearance one side easily too.
You could find a lot of crud in there and the screw not working.
Thanks. Sounds good, pretty much attack it enough to pry it. I am half expecting the screw to be frozen up in there

Re: Early Quadrajet APT plug

I got the plug out. It was easy. Hit it with a 1/8" drill bit and it pried right out. Screw is frozen. Even let it soak in PB, ATF, and Acetone. Maybe next time the engine is good and hot I will see if it moves.
