Gen IV harness mod - 4wd to 2wd on Alldata?
My 5.3 motor, harness, ecm/tcm came from an 08 4x4 Tahoe. I purchased an 08 4L60e from a 2wd Silverado. Needless to say I have extra wires and connectors for the front diff and 4wd transmission I would like to strip out. If I got an Alldata subscription would I be able to compare the 4wd and 2wd plugs at the Tcm to be able to tell which pins/wires to strip out?

Have you tried lt1swap website? They have pretty detailed instructions on older ls harnesses. I’m sure they’ll have instructions on yours.

Re: Gen IV harness mod - 4wd to 2wd on Alldata?
I'm not sure. I have an alldata subscription for a 2010 tahoe, and I don't see diagrams for anything with 2wd. I think the tahoe was available in 2wd, but it's possible that I had to select enough options when purchasing the subscription that now it only shows me the 4wd stuff.
Worst case scenario, you'd have to buy two subscriptions. One for 4wd, and a matching one for a 2wd vehicle. The second subscription is generally a bit cheaper.
