Thumbs down Anybody know Badblu97?

If sombody knows this guy will you please ask him to contact me. I haven't heard from him since April and he lied to me about his intentions in his last PM.
The story: Last August I posted in a thread about getting a guage lens printed in a different color than the stock lens and if anybody knew where I could get one made. Badblu97 answered saying he had done one for his guage panel and would be willing to make me one. The only thing was that the one he had made for himself was for an "idiot light" panel and he didn't have a "gauges" panel to use as a template. He said that if I would send him my lens he would make me up a new one and then send them both back. This is a little more trust than I usually have in strangers but I thought "what the hell", if something happens it's not a huge loss of money to replace so I sent it off to him.
That was then, this is now. I still haven't got either my old lens or the new lens back from him. I have probably 30 PMs back and forth with some excuse or another why it wasn't finished and he is still working on it. I will wait a couple of weeks and then PM him again and it's the same things all over again. The next PM I sent was the first part of March and he finally answered a month later with the same story, that he had had a problem and would finish it up, and in the meantime he would send my original lens back. It didn't happen. I sent one more PM to him at the end of April telling him to send my original back. I have gotten NO answer back even though he has been on the forum at least once since I sent the PM so he should have seen it.
I know that I should just forget about it and call it a lesson learned but it's become a matter of principal now that this guy has been jacking me around this long. So if you know him or live near him let him know what kind of flake I think he is and he can contact me and discuss it anytime.

Re: Anybody know Badblu97?

maybe before you trash someone, you might think that there are honest people left, and they make honest mistakes. I misplaced the lens, thought my better half mailed it, out of sight, of mind. I sold the truck, so I stopped coming to the forum. I mailed it out two days ago.
