What type of paint should I use? Has anyone brushed or rolled on paint rather than spraying? I know this has been discussed many times before, but the Search engine has been disabled. Any advice is appreciated.

BTW - You may not remember me, but I met you and your wife once when you came to Santa Ana, CA to buy a set of rallye wheels off me. Every time I see a pic of your beautiful K5, I look at the rims and say to myself: I contributed to that work of art!

Actually those rims I bought from you are not on the Blazer yet.

I got them powder coated Gloss black but I really like the color matched wheels so I have to paint them yet.I'm actually waiting untill I need some new rubber before I do this.They WILL be on the truck within the next 3 months though.

You have pic's of that beast posted somewhere?I'd really like to see your Blazer again.Those stellies were 16.5",right?

Yes, they are 16.5, 8-lug (3/4ton D44 front, 14 bolt ff rear). Finding the dog dish hubcaps for those rims was more involved than the axle swaps! I think its time to post some updated pics to this board. I know how people love pics.

Many moons ago, I did some boat fiberglass restoration and needed to paint it. I wound up using some Marine Enamel that was fabulous. It went on with a brush but never showed any brush strokes. With the stock crinkle finish, it should cover perfect. It covered flat very well and held up like epoxy. My top will need some refab this summer and that is what I will probably use. Just need to decide how to refill those assembly seams. The interior is another story as that too will need to be redone. Not an easy spot to redo. Hummmmm!
