Re: 200-4r problems and questions

This is the way mine was when i got the truck. I have been driving it for 2 years like this. Just the factory bracket and a couple bolts and lock nuts. For a 200r4 you would need the correct stud from Edelbrock. Now if I still remember how to add pics....

As you can see, I have an alignment issue with the th350 kickdown cable but it still works fine. I plan to do something with it in the future.

Re: 200-4r problems and questions

200 4R-I had to make a hard stop and the engine shook violently. I thought the motor mounts were going to brake. I started driving again and after 40 miles or so I arrived home. The violent shaking was gone but there is still a minor shaking when in gear. It wasn't there before the hard braking incident. Any Ideas? Thanks all for your help. Without this site I wouldn't have my truck.

You may want to start a new thread rather than resurrect an old one.

I'm kinda like duct tape- no real purpose, but handy to have around.

They can't help it if you mount them wrong

I know this thread is ancient but thought this diagram could help someone who comes on this thread in a search.

I wouldn't call myself an expert, but I do know a few things. I have assembled a 2004r for one of my cars and did a bunch of research on them. I am doing a 4l60e now.

Really just a DIY guy, but I'm happy to help you if I can.

Re: 200-4r problems and questions

I am changing my T350 to a 700r4 transmission at the moment. I have done this a few times, just looking for others who have done it as well
