Missing Speedometer part??? 1954 truck

What is missing on my transmission? I bought a new speedometer cable for my 1954 truck and when I connect it to the transmission adapter is wont spin. It seems there is a missing piece on speedometer adapter. Anyone come across this or have an idea what to do?

Re: Missing Speedometer part??? 1954 truck

I did some research and found out there is a key/sleeve that goes between the 90 degree adapter and the speedometer cable. But I cant find where I can order one. Anyone know where to find one of these key/sleeves?

Try Bowman Products or Lawson Products or any company that sells to truck industry I have used these kits for years to repair truck fleet. McMaster Karr should have them to .
