Cool. C-notch's are not high on my "get after it" list. I did mine first thing just to get it out of the way

Re: My brides new ride

The weather today was great and I was thinking what would Newfisher ( John ) do, check out his thread http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=597187 the dude must have ants in the pants as he does some type of upgrade every couple of hrs any way here's what I did today, changed the seat out to buddy buckets. The only thing that had to be changed was the center support, cut it off shorten it up and weld it back on.

I don't watch TV and Daughter is grown and gone. You can only walk the dogs around the block so many times before the neighbors think I'm stalking them.

Those seats look AWESOME!!!

Are they the 60-66 buckets or the 67-72?

Seats look good, but bummer on the wheels! I thought they looked good. Gotta make momma happy though! And the "new" truck looks like a nice find. It's almost identical to a '68 short/fleet my ex brother-in-law had, even down to the white spoke wheels.

Re: My brides new ride

just caught up on this thread and you are doing it right. taking on the projects and completing them one at a time so shes driving all along and using her truck as was intended. i don't think i will ever blow one apart again, way too much effort and way too long to get one ready to enjoy. thanks for that, you're doing it right.

Re: My brides new ride

Lovin the redneck xmas lights! I pipe notched mine and wish I had waited for the backorder to get my notches......so clean. I had the bed off and didn't want to keep pulling it. Nice bed lift, I need to score one of those. The twin post sucks to lift them off.
