ticking or clicking noise

When I drive it or hold the brake and give it has you hear the ticking or clicking noise increase with rpms but you put it in park and rev it to 3k or so and not a noise one... It increases with rpm when in gear but nothing when there is not a load ...ibran two cans of sea foam thinking maybe it was carbon build up ... Any ideas. I checked exhaust for leaks no signs .. Itsba 2012 5.3 had 78k miles 2wd

I'd look at the exhaust manifold bolts really close. Sounds like an exhaust leak to me. And it's very common for the outer bolts to break.
