Can you run the type 2 pump with the plastic reservoir on a Hydroboost system?

Yes you can run the type two pump with the clip on reservoir with out any problems..

I've been getting pm's about running the setups with racks and hydro boost and yes they will work and can get the correct pumps to work right..

Can you give me a quote on a black Vintage Air kit for a 71 Chevy 350, with A/C and hydro boost (if there's a difference)? Please. And will this fit in a stock location with a mechanical fan and shroud?

You can run a mechanical fan with vintage airs setup but it has to be a reverse rotation style fan.. Also how much room do you have between your water pump and radiator?? I'm sure Sarah will send you pricing.. Kyle

Thanks Kyle. I'll have to measure to find out what the spacing is. I have a factory style copper/brass radiator and solid mounted fan, but since you reminded me of the reverse rotation, I can't save the fan anyway. What do you typically run on these setups? Do you go with mechanical or electric? And Sarah sent me a quote, so thanks to you both!

I always run electric fans with any front runner setup but that's just my preference.. If you run the mechanical fan and shroud it kinda hides the front runner.. Both setups would both work fine...

Aftermarket or OEM style electric fans? What would you recommend for fan/shroud combo on a stock type radiator (I think it's stock, but it could be a replacement)?

I always run aftermarket and have had the best results with flexalite and the matching temp sensors..
