It seems to work just fine so far, thanks for your help Wayne, I'm back on the road. Still looking for a new oem part...Knock sensor is where?

It screws into the block, looks like an oil pressure sender. Sorry I can't remember where! Wayne

It does work quite well. I installed it and haven't had a problem since.
I would still prefer to find the original part, but apparently they're all gone? seems hard to believe there's none to be found. good luck and let me know if you ever find any originals. |

This is 38synergy. I have sold over 140 replacement 10237275 tensioners. Not one complaint! They are available on eBay. Be careful, two customers copied the design! Mine is sold under ruthwayne. A NAPA store in Brea CA also stocks them. Jackson NAPA Brea, CA. Wayne

Had this same problem with trying to find this tensioner. I ended up getting one from ebay and it worked great. But I kept searching and finally found a direct fit aftermarket replacement. It is from Dorman part number 419-126.

Thanks for the info, glad to know there's a few more options. Nothing against the one I got from Ebay, it's working great, but the Dorman seems close to the stock part.
I think at 210,000 I'm due for injectors, it idles horrible |
