What's the rarest emblem?

What are the most uncommon emblems found on our trucks?

I know the GMC "Custom Camper" door script is not reproduced, and since the "Custom" was available separately, I'd guessing the work "Camper" is hard to find.

"Sierra Grande" is reproduced, thankfully, but those would be reasonably uncommon...

Also thought maybe the less common Canadians ones, like 930, but there were still probably lots made.

CST/30 maybe?

69-71 CustomCamper30 fender nameplate
(Not nearly as rare as the 65 Custom Camper nameplate, but that's a different forum )

Try finding NOS 400....Certainly not the rarest however.

Re: What's the rarest emblem?

The Custom fender script on a '67 GMC. It is similar to the Custom door script that is also used for the '72 Custom Camper door script, only larger. That is maybe the rarest one.

Another rare one would be a 3500 Sierra Grande emblem

Re: What's the rarest emblem?

CST/30 as mentioned above. I haven't seen many CST/20s either and bought the only (almost NOS) set I've seen for sale but elected to stay with my originals. If they are reproduced, I'm not aware if it.

No, I had a setback. Wife's car took a dump. So I got her a new one. She drives about 50K a year and beats on them pretty hard. Got to keep mama safe. Priorities. I have to wait.

Another one more rare than any shown is the Magnum 351 badge GMC used. That and the GMC Custom script are the truly rare ones

That is a rare one. My '67 has the rectangular 'Custom' emblem on the front fenders. I am not sure of the reason for the 'Custom' script emblem, maybe it was a mid-year change. There is one emblem that is extremely rare, so rare I have only seen a photo of it once. It says 'V6 Magnum Power', and was only used on a few '67-'68 GMC's with 351E V-6's. Follow the thread down, post #10:

Re: What's the rarest emblem?

What about the GMC emblems that contain the engine type (like mine says V-EIGHT). Would there be rare combinations, for example, of C3500 and V-SIX for example? I've never seen one, so don't know what the V6 big one tons would say...

I think tim is correct as these 2 being the rarest. I have a pretty good collection of different emblems here and the only 67 gmc script emblem I have ever seen came from tim. (thanks) Never seen the magnum emblem in person...

That's a 67/68 CST emblem.

Here is the 351 Magnum. Not sure but they seemed to only be used with Camper Cruiser?

The last one I don't know. I have it labeled '67. Could be a prototype or maybe foreign. I do not know
