Great build thread. Glad you taught those kids that. It's a lost art. all people do is pay for that kind of work now.

Re: High School Project Build

I have watched this build from the start but this is the first time I have commented.
Who ever buys this is going to be happy because it will be a nice reliable cruiser for them.

Re: High School Project Build

Got the truck back from Jones' Truck Shop - they done the muffler work and done a heck of job on it. Jones' donated all the muffler work plus tailgate, steering column a bunch of repair panels, and NOS window felts. These guys have gone to great extremes to help us out. I highly recommend these guys for any parts or service you may need for these old trucks

Truck looks really good. Do you have a link handy for Jones truck shop? Good for them for the donations!

No, I don't think he has a website, he is just a local guy that builds trucks and has just recently started selling parts from Woodall

Not yet - probably put it on ebay, because we have to sale it at a public auction. Will be this summer - I will keep you posted

Re: High School Project Build

Took it for a test drive and trying to get the bugs worked out - I think we have a couple of injectors about half clogged, it's got a miss and we have checked all the quick stuff and it's not throwing any misfire codes. We got the tailgate painted and put on now. Driving it tomorrow to the show
