Re: Project Underhaulin

So the only part that's left is the "some assembly required" part? Man I've been away from the board way to long!
But it's nice to see the spirit of this place is still in tact.

Hi Rus,

The reality is that there are very few of us that can wear your shoes and take on a project like this. It takes commitment and dedication and also most importantly, it takes heart and you have a big one.

No matter what happens with this moving forward, you have been blessed by god for what you are doing.

Take care,
Tom

Re: Project Underhaulin

Hi, I am new here and just saw this thread. I didn't get to read through all of it yet. I have an edelbrock 600 and a edelbrock 75 that are currently not being used. Being I didn't read the whole thread I am not sure what motor is going in this so I am not sure which carb you could use if you need one. If it is a 350 the 600 would probably work best. I could donate the 600 for this project if that would help out or could sell the 750 for $75. Both have been rebuilt recently as I was messing around with different carbs, but have settled on a holley 750 ultra double pumper. I can return all the jets, metering rods, springs, and accelrator pump nozzles back to the factory settings so you aren't messing around with it too much. The 600 was on the truck when I bought it 5 years ago when I was 16. Let me know if you could use one of these carbs and if it would help at all. My email adress is d-frank@comcast.net.

Is the truck out of paint prison yet?
I was looking back to see when it went in for paint and it has been like 2 months.

Re: Project Underhaulin

Sorry guys for the delayed response. It's not out of paint yet, my friend that is painting it works a full time job and has been working the 67 in as much as he gets a chance. He had planned to be done with it by now but his day time work has picked up. I'm going to see what I can do to hurry it along. I'll do better about keeping you guys posted.

^agreed

Anything that is worth looking at takes time to get prep and paint. 2 months is not that long considering the prep work it takes for nice paint and the fact that they most likely have to work on restoration work after the insurance jobs are done.

It will be worth the wait, I am sure.

Bless you boys
