SS02 interior

I am wanting to copy the interior in Squarebody Syndicate 02. My belief is that the color is Saddle Tan, but when I look at the SEM Color Coat dye chart, the color looks nothing like what is in SS02. Anybody know what dye brand/color I need to get?

Thank you!

Re: SS02 interior

I say it’s Saddle, not Saddle Tan. Saddle Tan is lighter. A truck that has a Saddle Tan interior, the dash is darker than the seat/carpet/door panels. That darker color is Saddle. The lighter color is Saddle Tan. Now reading thru the article about the SS02, it says the dash was supplied by USA1 Industries. So you could always call them and ask exactly what the color was that they used on the dash. And then they can supply you with the parts and/or dye you need, but I would say it’s Saddle. Here’s a pic:

Re: SS02 interior

I emailed Squarebody Syndicate, and here is their reply!

“ The seats and door panels are real raw hide. No dye.”

Well no, they wouldn’t have been dyed. They would have used the same color “material”, for the seats and dash. Now on the other hand, I would have to go back and pay more attention to the door panels, but I would say those were painted/dyed. I’ll ask Randy, from USA1, what the color the dash was, that they supplied.

Re: SS02 interior

So this is what I found out from USA1, where the dash came from. The dash was dyed to match the Seat Material, which was leather. He said it was a custom color, so it didn’t really have a name.

Re: SS02 interior

But you can still do the same, in your truck. You get covers for the seats, and the dash pad, if yours needs replaced because of cracks. But you can get bucket seat covers from USA1, in orginal colors. Then they can supply the dye, so you can do your door panels.
OR...USA1 has complete interiors. Get everything from them and transform the interior of your truck, just like the SS02. Just contact Randy, from USA1, he can help you out!!!

Re: SS02 interior

Here is a close up, of a seat that I did. This is Light Saddle. The dash is dark Saddle. The dash was always a darker shade of saddle, due to the glare of the sun, from the windshield.
