Still talking with the contractor.
Long/short of it is I still haven't gotten a price or any real design from the current guy yet and I won't go into something like this blind.

I'm also slowly sliding into a partnership of sorts with a different contractor, so that might show some perks too.

Couldn't resist when I saw a set of these come up in the for sale section, lil motor bling won't hurt.

The set I got aren't as bright and shiny but I kinda like em better that way.

Oh no...not just yet.

Concrete work is all done, they filled the gaps yesterday and gave me another 40/50 square feet to work with.

Plenty wide but still need to decide on roll up door width and whether or not I want to do a pass through door.

Blazer fits in nice.

First frost huh, it got to the 40's last night down here. Does your drive way face the east or west. Just wondering how you are going to handle the snow removal. I know you guys get dumped on up there.

VT I pulled the gate out this weekend to take some picts, but I had to pull the gear box and PS pump from my 07 Dodge since the PS quit and a big Mega cab Diesel don't turn with no PS. I am sorry it has taken so long, but looks as though you are busy as well.

In AZ I got some sunburn this weekend out in the yard, but the frost and snow is around the corner here as well, just wishing it away for as long as I can! Wall and future shop space looks great, wish my house was mine as I'd like to get more garage. I told my wife I want a huge shop with a cot in the corner, she didn't laugh?!

Not so much, had to go back to work.

However, not dead...have decided on a floor joist structure that will clear span the 26ft interior dimension.
(manufactured wooden 'I' beams are the ticket)

And currently working up a materials list, still need to file the permit too.

Progress is progress...it all has to be done.

Those I-joists must be like 16" wide to be able to clear span 26'.
