Can anyone out there tell me what color yellow is on this truck? I would like to know if I decide to paint mine yellow and white I would like to know what the color of yellow to paint it. I hope I uploaded the picture.

Closest match in truck colors would be Dark Yellow (RPO 519 in solid color, 480 in Deluxe Two tone as depicted).

However, to me, the one you posted looks more like a non-truck color, kinda like later model Corvette Millennium Yellow. Can't really tell from just a pic though. Hope that helps.

I think the one you show is ochre yellow. I have to agree it looks like a none factory color. Maybe a corvette yellow. I was in hopes someone may know who the owner was and respond. Thanks for your comments.

it's 480 (519 dark yellow pri/521 white sec deluxe two tone)

I believe it might be paint color code 520 for the 70 models. Not sure, but it is one good looking truck. I like the yellow and white two tone color and the parchment with black houndstooth seat. I also like the saddle interior colors. What color do you think will look best? Parchment or saddle with the yellow and white combination.

It looks close to what is on mine, paint can label is Dupont Nason, GMC 312. Apparently a color from 1936?! It is a darker yellow color though.

That would be called Armour yellow in 1936. About the same as ochre, but a little darker.
