What center caps fit on these Rally wheels?

Anyone know if the Corvette style center caps fit these Rally wheels?? Or what other caps fit?? They are 6 bolt 15" Rally wheels on my 70 GMC.

Re: What center caps fit on these Rally wheels?

Corvette derby caps can be made to fit by using some clips available on ebay. I may have pics at home.

Oh cool, pics would be great. I'm not a fan of the caps that came with these. I don't mind the rallys with beauty rings (mine need polishing). I've always preferred the look of 5 bolts if bolts are showing. Don't know why it just bothers me. SO if I can cover the bolts with different caps, it won't be in my head. Haha

I like the 88-98 caps for styled steel wheels. Most have 4x4 on them but there were some with the bowtie or GMC. They are clean smooth and more sunken looking that original truck rallye caps

Re: What center caps fit on these Rally wheels?

I saved these pics a couple years ago. The first and second pics are early chevy caps on truck rallys
using those adapters made by forum member dgwill. I'm not sure when he last was on here. He may sell those on ebay. The third is another member rly's truck with vette derby caps on truck rallys using some type of adapter clips.
The last pic is some clips sold on ebay.

Here's an example of what I'm talking about. Just looks right, like it was meant to be. IMO better than what they came with

Here is the ebay ad. He does not have any on there now but you could email him. https://www.ebay.com/itm/CHEVY-GMC-T...tVy7GG&vxp=mtr

Yep, very similar to what I already have (but the center part is shallower like u said, plus the logo). Not the look I'm going for.

I really like the derby cap look. I also like the 3 spinner caps. I just don't want to see the lugnuts (unless it was 5 bolt then the wheel options skyrocket for me).

$70 for adapters, then I'm guessing close to $100 (or more) for derby caps. I may just live with these wheels/caps til I find a craigslist deal on some older 15" wheels I like better.

Thanks for all the info, glad to know the option does exist.

Re: What center caps fit on these Rally wheels?

Well rally’s are going bye bye. I picked up some centerlines on my drive down to Pomona Swap meet this weekend (found them on Craigslist). They are in perfect shape, good tires with plenty of tread left. 15x8 reads and 15x7 fronts.

My new hurdle is putting in longer lug studs (mine are too short for these thick aluminum rims).

Are there clips that hold these on, or were these the caps where the lugs were threaded for the lug cap covers?

Reviving from the dead for info...

Is there an adapter made to have the caps to cover lug nuts?

If you mean derby caps, such as from car rallye wheels, they talk about what is made for that in post #5. They may still be available on Ebay. Or check lugnutking.com and other wheel accessory websites

Answer:
Those 88-98 truck center caps hold on by the plastic lug nut caps threaded on duplex lug nuts. You can get those lug nuts in SAE size to fit pre-88 trucks

Re: What center caps fit on these Rally wheels?

I got my 6 lug center caps from Southwest Classics in Arlington Tx. Looks perfect. I have since added a blue bowtie sticker over the gold. Looks great and ties in with the blue bowtie on the hood.
