Re: seattle overhauling PART 2

Nice looking sub! How is the Holley 950 working out for you? I'm about to install one on mine this winter. ( 402 bb )

Re: seattle overhauling PART 2

worked flawlessly. The gas mileage dropped though. I had the 750 Quadra jet before, which has small primaries, size of a quarter, lol. its the secondary's they're so big you could stick your hand through. ( exaggeration )
turn key with the Holly, engine turns over 7 times and starts. cold starting, same, idles to about 1500, then down to 750 after 30 seconds, every time. tunes up with a computer. I had Pertronics make me a elc. distributor. shaft is from a caddy the rest is from a "86 (?) corvette. | haven't installed it yet, will be using a wide band O2 sensor so the complete tune up will be from a computer.

Re: seattle overhauling PART 2

Looking great! Would love some more pics..
I think I recall meeting you at one of the get together so we had around the time you were at Marks.. Maybe when we spent a day thrashing on Brads 67? Been so long I forget..
Anyway, always liked the Burb, and now that I have one it wonder what took me so long to see the light...

I looked I don't have his number any more. Maybe Livrat can get ahold of him.
