Re: Unwanted guest.

Not nice. My wife got bit by a spider (the only one in California that has fangs that can penetrate skin is the black widow) while gardening. Her wound looked kind of like pic #3. She was sick for weeks.

Not yet. Planning on doing speedo drive o-ring and adjust e-brake cables tomorrow. I'm going under my truck armed! I'm thinking a can of satin black. Spray the spiders and detail the under carriage at the same time!

Dang right. I've got some flourescent orange that'll look great on that midnight black mother. They also kill their mates don't they?
Chassis black is a good choice for underside touchups.

To my understanding, it is not fatal to adults.....maybe some local irritation?

Coley
My understanding on the bite is its similar to a wasp. If you are allergic, then it will effect you more.

Re: Unwanted guest.

I was bit by a spider once, but I'm not sure what kind. It turned into a huge blister, but once it was lanced it was fine.

Re: Unwanted guest.

If it keeps warming up, maybe I'll move to (some non-frozen part) of Canada.
