New to the group

Hi everyone I’m in for a real treat. I’m about to start a Cummins swap in an 71 GMC K2500. The got an 02 dodge I’m gonna take the complete drive train out of and swap to GMC. The doner tuck has 24 valve Cummins, nv5600 trans, 241 dhd transfer case, Dana 70 in the front and an Dana 80 single wheel in the rear with 4:10 gears. I’ve got the conversion parts ordered to put a p pump on the motor and the crossmemder ordered from auto word to get it set in place. I haven’t seen anything about swapping a Dana 70 into an older truck. And insights would be appreciated. P.S. love the forum. lots of good information.
