You went from a 73 3/4ton chevy to a new tacoma? That's one hell of a jump is what I think!

Sort of, see my DD was a 2012 VW TDI that I sent back to VW. I decided to buy the Tacoma and realized that I dont especially need two trucks. Im keeping the Tacoma.

You can never have to many. I have 5. They all have their own special place in my heart.

Re: And my time has come to an end

I only use my trucks for working. I wouldn't dare to work a new truck. The first scratch would be too painful. I think most new trucks just haul groceries until the 2nd owner gets it. You almost never see Toyotas this far north. They got a bad reputation for rusting away. They probably do a better job of protecting them now but the reputation still lingers up here. Enjoy the hot rod. The V8's are pretty fast.

Sir Crunch, I think we all get what you're trying to say, but you crossed the line into disrespect. Keep in mind that when you do that, it doesn't help make your point, it damages your credibility.

JD, keep in mind that you essentially told guys that live and breathe Chevy and GMC Trucks that you would rather have a Tacoma. You are probably not going to get a lot of support here. You were probably asking us what we think of your truck. To tell the truth, I think it's cool and worth keeping. Sorry to hear about the VW. I'd love to see you get a cheap DD (new Tacomas aren't cheap) and put the savings toward your squarebody. You made the point that it should go to someone who can use it. I can respect that. I just wouldn't want to do without the SqB.

Not everyone can live in a place where one can collect ol' iron. I lived in a subdivision once years ago. It was a stepping stone to something better.

Wow, you guys are sure rude. Sometime a guy just has to do what he has to do. If your truck is the green and white one an eBay, I'm watching it

Re: And my time has come to an end

No kidding Joe, I had to read those twice and wonder if I was missing some hidden humor. No, just hidden manners - well hidden. Akart and sircrunch amass a total of a whopping 117 posts at the moment, and those two were a waste of breath. What could possibly have been the point of either post? Hope the other 115 posts aren't that dumb. Grow up gents and perhaps observe the folks with manners around you before you start talking smack again.

jd, don't forget, you don't have to have one of these trucks to be on the forum. Stick around and you'll eventually figure out a way to get another, it's in the blood. Enjoy your new truck, and don't be a stranger.
