Durablocks

Which dura blocks do you guys prefer? The hook and loop or the stick on sand paper style.

Re: Durablocks

I use the stick-on ones. Have a bunch, like them all. I think the stick-on blocks will hold a contour better but I have not used any hook & loop ones. My DA is hook & loop, like it alot.

Re: Durablocks

I like the hook and loop as I can reuse a piece of paper after changing grits.
I find the stick on don't do that too well.

Re: Durablocks

That makes really good sense switching paper back and forth. I'm sold on the hook and loop.

Re: Durablocks

I've always wondered if the Velcro style has a little too much of a soft interface for blocking compared to the harder surface of the sticky type.

Re: Durablocks

Good thought! To be able to reuse the paper I thought was a good thing also.
