Anybody running an original-style aftermarket hood?

Been thinking for a while that I'd like to go back to a stock hood on my '97 Tahoe. I currently have a Harwood fiberglass hood, which was installed by a previous owner. I'm curious if any of you are running an original-style hood made in the aftermarket (aka reproduction)? If so, how was the metal quality & fitment?

Thanks for any input!

Re: Anybody running an original-style aftermarket hood?

I have a replacement hood on my 90. Fit is good but the material seems thinner. Not sure who the manufacturer is though. It was replaced along w/the front fenders, grille, bumper, & pass side inner wheel well during front end crash repairs.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Thanks. Not sure if it's true or not, but I've heard/read before that they're all made by the same people & just rebranded. Just trying to see if it's worth it or hold out until I can find an original GM.
