trailing arm Q?

has anyone tried to swap 67-72 trailing arms into their 2wd suburban?
im looking to bag it and get a really nice ride, i know i can spend a grip of money on a doing a 4 link but i can get the factory trailing arm stuff for almost nothing then go aftermarket from there as i have the money.

the trailing arm suspension should tow very well and ride like a dream if properly set up and have very nice handling also.
