manual throttle cable

My truck came with the manual throttle cable, but the truck has been Frankenstein since then. I would like to install one now that I bought from a board member some time ago. I still have the pedal arrangement but don't know where this bracket, that's on the cable, goes. Can someone take a picture under their dash for me?

I stripped mine down to just what I needed for the accelerator pedal/cable.
I made a plate to bolt to the truck where the stock mechanical pedal/linkage went. I put three studs on it for the new assembly to bolt to. I threaded the holes for the studs then welded them on the backside so they will never come loose.

Re: manual throttle cable

I didnt have both sides of the pedal mount like it looks you do so I made the back piece for mine out of a piece of aluminum.

Re: manual throttle cable

I think I answered my own question. I read a couple more threads on the manual throttle and I think this is the location. It located on the main structure below the steering column, that holds the brake pedal. I found a hole there that's scratched, like a bolt was there. thanks to DeadheadNM for digging it up a couple of years ago. Now all I have to do is figure out how it goes in also I found another picture from JT Trucks87 and he shows the position
