1970 GMC C25 Brake Lines

I have a 70 C20 that needs new front brake lines. It has power drum brakes. LMC only lists 1/2 ton brake line kits... Are they different? Where can I get the right brake lines. Thanks.

Inline tube? They seem to have everything brake line related.

Anyone know if the front lines are different between models?

Call Inline Tube. I just ordered complete brake and fuel line kits from them using the telephone since they didn’t list the ones I needed. Easy to deal with and pretty quick for made to order.

Their site says 68-69 power drum lines are the same for half ton and 3/4 ton. I don't think power drums changed in 1970. I still need to know lol.

Re: 1970 GMC C25 Brake Lines

Sorry for the double post, but I did some more research. LMC sells Inline Tube, who reboxes Right Stuff Detailing brake lines. RSD lists brake lines as the same for all power drums. Why go through 2 middle men and pay more for the same parts? Just search the part numbers, they're all the same.

Totally different for the 3/4 and inline tube is rude and has nothing.

Mine were '72s because I had done a disc retrofit but "RIGHT STUFF DETAILING" had most everything I needed.

How are they different? So far everywhere lists 68-69 power drum brake lines (1970 GMC has the same 69 power drums) as the same for half and three quarter tons... Except for LMC. So it's confusing.

Your 72 brake lines will be different between models. That much is already known.

I ordered Right Stuff Detailing PN TKT6802 which lists 1970 C20 power drums compatibility. 80$ free shipping from Amazon. It's backordered, but that beats LMC and Inline Tube for pricing.

Inline tube and Right Stuff are different companies. Along with Classic Tube are the big 3. I have bought from both Inline Tube and from Right Stuff. Every order I made with Right Stuff had to have additional parts sent or replaced. Probably 5 times for Big Block Chevy fuel pump to carb lines?. My history with Inline Tube has been better but sample size is small.

My experience is the opposite. At Inline I was trying to get a quote for 3/4T lines and they kept not answering. After a couple of months the best answer I could was "we don't really have much for the 3/4 ton" and they didn't seem to care and were actually a little rude.

My experience with Right Stuff has been much better. I'm restoring an Impala right now and they even had the lines I needed for weirdo F41 suspension in a convertible, and in stainless even!

So I just remember that "right stuff" is the "right one" to call. But that's just my "sample size of one" experience.
