Hickey sidewinder seals ?

Does anyone know where to get seals for the motor and worm gear? I have gear oil in the motor and the seals are hard as a rock.
Also, I remember seeing a post where someone rebuilt a sidewinder and had good pics but I'm not sure if it was here or a different forum. anyone recall that post? Thanks, John

Re: Hickey sidewinder seals ?

Hello,
Would you happen to have any part numbers for the seals you replaced?
Thanks, Paul

That would be awesome. I replaced the roller bearing in the gear case. It was an EE6 I have an SKF seal 6143 coming for the top cover.

Re: Hickey sidewinder seals ?

I got top cover seal Timkin # 7188S. Bottom spool seal SKF #14857. and the two seals for the motor gear case, SKF #7414. Some of the seals I got from a place called Multiple Systems Inc in Texas. I has a hard time finding the case bearing in the US but found them in the UK at QualityBearingonline.com, RHP KLNJ3/4J.
