Replacements for GM piston 14093990?
What are some aftermarket replacements for GM piston part number 14093990 ?
Those are the Hi-Limit pistons for a 1992 5.7 from a pickup with the Z71 option. I can't find anything online except a few crazy priced NOS pistons. Seems nobody has a searchable interchange or cross reference, not that I can find. I'd think Sealed Power and the other manufacturers and vendors would want to have a database with all the OEM part numbers cross referenced to aftermarket replacements. |

Normally when one piston needs replacement people replace them all, in which case you can go with whatever piston you want. If your replacing a single piston, I'd get the expensive oem replacement to make sure you don't throw the balance off too badly.
