Thanx a lot! I really do not use the car for nothing, I just bought it because it's one of my "dream cars" since I was a kid. I don't need it to carry goods, but I'd love to use it as a camper sometimes. The flat bed I made myself, as it was equipped with an ugly box.

Anyway, I will ask for ideeas and advices in a dedicated topic, as Iwish to see it as an old american camper.

Glad to be here and thanx once again. I'll post some pictures with the car carrying the box.

Re: Let's see some 73-87 1 Ton Dually Pictures!

Sorry, I still don't have a 1973-87 square body pickup as a project truck so some personal hand drawn pics will have to do instead.
Some more square bodies and 1-tons:

the last 2 are Chevy C70 medium duty trucks:

Thought I had posted on this thread...but guess not. Long ways from done, but it's finally driving and road worthy just in time to put it away for a long winter sleep.

Has anyone tried to put the OE style wheel well trim on the dually fenders?
Nice rig!

I have seen people do it before, and I've been told the rear wheel well opening on the dually fenders is exactly the same size as the front. But if you want my advice, try measuring it out first.

Do you know if any mods had to be done to the rear end to make 19.5's work?

Man, it's been a long time since I've been on the site!

Another "damn I was a dummy for selling this truck!" guy here. But I think I'm finally through the "denial" phase of my grief and moving on to the "how do I cook up an excuse to buy another one" phase... Ah some day I'll have another big square in my life.

Some great looking trucks in this thread!

Picked this up not too long ago. It needs some TLC, obviously. I'm still trying to figure out what I want to do with it too. First thing is to get it running and driving. It was my uncles and was last tagged in '08. It has a Chevy grille but title says GMC so I'm not too sure, haha. Build thread.
