Prop valve lines

I've spent quite a while searching and haven't been able to come up with the answer here. I'm relocating my prop valve to under the cab along side the frame so I can hide the brake lines a little better. I know that the front two valves are for the front, left/right. My question is does it matter which side of the truck the lines go to, as long as I'm using the front valves? I believe from the factory, the top mount was routed to the passenger side brake. I want to switch mine around and run the top valve to the driver side and the bottom valve to the passenger. Is there any reason that won't work?
