Re: dodge steelies

The adapters are 1.25 on all four corners. I got them through billet adapters. They run about $69 pair. They are 5x5 to 5x5.5

Re: dodge steelies

Im a fan of the 20's, but I know what yourre saying about the 15's, Im putting a set of dodge rims mine in the next few weeks.

I was planning on having the tires striped white, theres a guy here (New Zealand) that does them, I got them done on my rallyes.

He scrubs the tire up with a sort of a grinder attachment then rolls a white rubber emulsion on which etches the tire. Ive had it on the 15's for a few months and it seems to be holding up ok, gives the wheel a bit of definition so they dont look like big black holes, same sort of effect as the white writing I reckon.

Re: dodge steelies

Danny, man you should have done a "how to" on your paint method. I wondered if it was real or faux patina. who cares, it looks great.

can you turn your front wheels lock to lock still, or do you have some minor rub?

Seriously? You actually looked for that hood over the other one? I mean no disrespect, but it looked much better before.

Re: dodge steelies

the backspacing on these wheels is 6".the back is not the problem.the front will hit.some guys have re drilled rotors and axles to make them fit without adapters. go to powerblock tv.com they did a 52 pickup with faux tina.you put diffrent colors on and sand through after your done.very easy.all of the paint is duplicolor laquer. you can buy it at almost any parts store.
