cross member

can anyone tell me if a 66 3/4 front crossmember is the same as a 72 1/2 ?i was told the a-arms may be diff but what about the crossmember?

You should not have an issue bolting 1-2 ton a-arms to that cross member on the upper you can just change the ball joint to fit you application the lower ball joint hole diameter is lager on the 3/4 ton arm so you need to swap it for a half ton model and use the correct joint for your app. Also you will have to fab brake line brackets 72's have them on the front side of the cross member or just change the rh brake line fitting to the correct size for the 72 brake hose.
