72 Clutch Info

Hey Guy's,

I've got a Clutch question; I've got a 72 K20 with a 454/Sm465 combo. I need to replace the Clutch. I know that the Flywheel Is 168 tooth, and the GM pressure plate 3997762 is for a 12" clutch. Is this going to be a stepped flywheel? I'd like to get rid of the lever style cover. I'm looking on rock auto and there is a crap ton to choose from. Any suggestions? More of a weekend driver than towing these day's but I still don't mind throwing 7-10k lbs. behind it in as bind.

I'd like to have the parts before I pull it but not sure if that's possible. Any insight?

Thanks for the help
