WTB Tail pipe hangar

Looking to see if anyone has one of these tail pipe hangar brackets. It is on the frame rail by the spare tire area. I have the standard one that is riveted on the drivers side. I am looking for a match for the passenger side.(RH) May have only been available on diesel models.
Please let me know,
Jay

New or used? GM part number is 14034504. Came with all Military CUCV pickups.

Re: WTB Tail pipe hangar

googling the part number shows discontinued.
I have done a frame off resto and wanted the best looking hangar set up. I know the muffler shop will use generic hangers so I'm trying to get these in place before I take the truck to them.

Re: WTB Tail pipe hangar

All models in diesel have duals, Blazer Jimmy Suburban, Truck, 4x4, 4x2, 1/2 ton, 3/4 ton, 1 ton. There are multiple hangers to suit all these applications.

I may have.

I see your vehicle listed in your signature. Maybe that's what it is for. I don't know.

You should certainly specify your application to get the exact correct part or even one close. There are sooooo many exhaust systems and relative hardware.

Re: WTB Tail pipe hangar

Thanks GM72K10,
I looked at my frame and I don't seem to have the holes to mount that one. (see pic, sorry it's sideways) Also, it looks very long in comparison to the stock one on the drivers side. What is the overall measurement?? I would like to see if it matches mine. Maybe the picture is deceiving.

GonicGM,
Yes, it is for the one in my signature. 1985 Custom Deluxe, Standard Cab, 2WD Long bed. It is a former 305, 4BBL, 700R4, single exhaust truck. Now 5.3 LS, 4L60E, will have true duals with cats.

The original set up had a 2 into 1 head pipe, 1 catalytic conv, muffler and tailpipe on the drivers side. The rear most hanger is still present and riveted to the frame. (see pic, before sandblasting and paint) I'm pretty sure that ALL the gas trucks had the exhaust running down the drivers side due to the cat, so there may not be a match.

I see that the diesels had hangars on the passenger side; I just don't know if any model would have a match to my drivers side. If not, I can just let the exhaust shop "create" their own for the passenger side. Just thought if there is anything to match and I could get a hold of, it would look better than universal stuff.

I thought about getting a matching set of Diesels ones, but my frame is painted now and I don't want to grind the rivets off at this point. I can get some measurement when I get home today. Maybe that will help.

hard to tell but that bracket looks fairly symmetrical, have you thought about using another drivers side bracket on the passenger side?

Re: WTB Tail pipe hangar

So my drivers bracket is about 4 1/4" high and about 4" center to center on the rivets. (Pics are close, I was holding tape measure and taking pics)

I did think about another drivers side for the passenger side, but the rivets are not level and the bracket is bent to be bigger on the back side than the front. (can't see it in the picture and with the bed on it, I can't get a good shot anymore) But it does angles off to the corner of the rear bumper.
